Our unusual holiday apartment is located in the front section of Strittmattergut and forms part of the main farmhouse which was built in 1748. The generous flat for 6 people extends over two floors with a total of about 130 sqm and of course also has its own separate entrance.

On the ground floor of the apartment you will find one of the three cozy bedrooms, the inviting living/dining area with a fabulous traditional tiled wood stove, which is so typical of the Black Forest and is still in use today, the spacious, open plan kitchen and the recently renovated bathroom.

On the 1st floor there are two more charmingly furnished and spacious bedrooms. In the larger of these two rooms the original wooden floor and the rediscovered wall panelling  were lovingly restored by us. From here you also have access to the balcony of the farmhouse. In summer there is a private seating area with barbecue facilities in front of the entrance.

Let yourself be inspired by the extraordinary atmosphere of this unusual accommodation. Enjoy the wonderful warmth of the tiled stove in winter on the handcrafted oven bench made out of old beams and let yourself be enchanted by some snowflakes dancing in front of the window.
